Malta Work Permit (Single Permit)
To legally work in Malta, non-EU citizens must obtain a work permit through the Single Permit procedure. This process consolidates the work and residence permits into a single application, simplifying the procedure. The employer is responsible for submitting this application to the Identity Malta Agency. The Single Permit, also known as the e-residence card, is valid for one year and typically requires two to three months for processing.
